iMemo Terms of Service

Effective date: October 16, 2026

These terms set the conditions for using the iMemo note-taking app ("App") provided by Choidev (choidev, "Developer"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these terms.

Service

The App lets you store notes, to-dos, photos, and handwriting encrypted on your device and, if you choose, sync and back them up to your other devices through your Google Drive. The Developer does not operate any separate servers.

User Responsibilities

  • Only you know your master password and recovery key. The Developer cannot store or recover them for you. If you lose both, your data cannot be recovered.
  • If you use Google Drive sync, your Google account and Drive storage are governed by Google's terms, and you are responsible for managing them.
  • You must not use the App to store or distribute anything that violates the law or infringes others' rights.

Data and Rights

You own the rights to everything you write in the App. The Developer cannot access that content and holds no rights to it. Personal information is handled according to the iMemo Privacy Policy.

Changes and Discontinuation of Service

The Developer may improve, change, or discontinue the App's features. Even if the App is discontinued, your data on your device and Drive remains yours, and you can export it at any time using the App's file backup feature.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is." The Developer does not guarantee that the App is error-free or always available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for damages caused by data loss, lack of access due to a lost password, or outages of third-party services such as Google Drive. We recommend backing up important notes regularly.

Changes to These Terms

If we change these terms, we will post the revised terms on this page along with the effective date. Continuing to use the App after the revised terms take effect means you agree to the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
