Explains the types, purposes, durations, and how to refuse the cookies and browser storage used by choidev.

We disclose every cookie and storage item the site saves in your browser. For overall handling of personal information, please also see our Privacy Policy. Effective date: October 3, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They are used to keep you signed in or to compile visit statistics. Besides cookies, the site uses browser storage (localStorage) for some features. Values stored there are not sent to the server.
2. Essential Cookies (choidev)
These cookies are required for the site to work properly. All of them have the HttpOnly and Secure attributes, so JavaScript cannot read them, and they are sent only over HTTPS.

3. Browser Storage (localStorage)

If you turn on browser notifications, a service worker (/sw.js) is registered in your browser to deliver them. It does not save pages or track visits. Turning notifications off or clearing site data removes it. Site performance measurement does not use cookies or browser storage.
4. Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visitor counts, popular posts, and traffic sources so we can improve the site. It is not used on the admin pages.

5. Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)
When ads are displayed, Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads, personalize ads, prevent invalid clicks, and measure performance. The main cookies are listed below, but their actual names and durations may change according to Google's policies.

6. Security cookies (Cloudflare)
The site is served through Cloudflare, which may set cookies to block automated attacks and spam.

7. Refusing and deleting cookies
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Clear browsing data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Prevent cross-site tracking, Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data
- Samsung Internet: Settings → Privacy and security → Allow cookies / Delete browsing data
If you block essential cookies, you won't be able to log in, leave comments, or read protected posts. Blocking statistics or advertising cookies won't affect your ability to read posts.
